What happens during a Reiki session?
You lie or sit comfortably, fully clothed. The practitioner places their hands gently on or just above specific areas of the body, working through a series of positions. The experience is deeply restful — most clients feel warmth, a pleasant heaviness, or simply a quiet sense of being held. Distance Reiki follows the same process but is conducted remotely.
Is Reiki safe?
Yes. Reiki is gentle, non-invasive, and has no known adverse effects. It is safe for most people, including those receiving conventional medical treatment. We always recommend informing your treating clinician when combining any complementary practice with medical care — not because there is a known risk, but as good integrative practice.
Can Reiki be done online?
Yes. Distance Reiki is a well-established practice — energy is not limited by physical proximity. Clients across India and internationally receive remote sessions with meaningful effect. You will need a quiet, private space where you can lie down comfortably.
How is Reiki different from energy and aura clearing?
Reiki specifically channels universal life force energy through established Japanese protocols to restore balance. Energy and aura clearing is a broader practice that identifies and releases accumulated energetic debris — emotional imprints, heavy energies, and field disruptions. The two are complementary and are sometimes combined in a session.
Will I feel something during the session?
Many clients notice warmth, tingling, a gentle pulsing, or emotional release during the session. Others feel nothing in particular but notice significant differences — ease, lightness, better sleep — in the hours or days that follow. Both experiences are entirely normal.
How many sessions do I need?
A single session can produce a noticeable shift. For accumulated or ongoing stress, a series of two to four sessions over a few weeks often produces more lasting change. Many clients build Reiki into a regular rhythm — monthly or fortnightly — as an ongoing maintenance practice. We never sell packages; we decide together based on what you need.
Is Reiki a religious practice?
No. Reiki is a healing practice, not a religious one. Its origins are Japanese, and some practitioners draw on spiritual frameworks, but the practice itself does not require any specific belief. Clients of all faiths — and of no faith — work with us.
