Hypnotherapy

A gentle, focused-attention process that works with the subconscious — not performance, not mind control.

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic process that uses focused attention and deep relaxation to access the subconscious mind — the part of us that holds patterns, beliefs, and automatic responses. In this state, the analytical mind softens and the subconscious becomes more open to constructive suggestion, imagery, and gentle dialogue.

At Soul Healing Foundation, Naveen Todi uses hypnotherapy to work with the subconscious layers underneath stress, burnout, habit loops, self-doubt, and patterns that resist willpower alone. It is nothing like stage hypnosis. You are awake, aware, and in complete control the entire time.

This may be for you if

  • +You want to work on stress patterns, burnout, or a restless mind.
  • +You feel stuck in non-medical habits — procrastination, self-criticism, overthinking — and want a subconscious-level shift.
  • +You are preparing for something significant — a transition, a return to work, a public moment — and want to feel settled.
  • +You have tried talk therapy and want a complementary modality that goes beneath the narrative.

This is not the right fit if

  • You are in psychiatric crisis or require urgent clinical care — please see a licensed professional.

Common questions

Is hypnotherapy the same as stage hypnosis?

No. Stage hypnosis is entertainment. Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic practice where you remain aware, in control, and cannot be made to do anything against your values. The goal is inner work, not performance.

What does a hypnotherapy session feel like?

Most clients describe it as a deeply relaxed, focused state — similar to the moments just before falling asleep, but with clearer awareness. You hear everything, remember most of it, and can choose to open your eyes at any point.

Can everyone be hypnotized?

Almost everyone who wants to can enter a hypnotherapeutic state. The main requirement is willingness. Depth varies by person and by day — that is normal, and the work still happens.

How many hypnotherapy sessions will I need?

Focused goals often respond in one to three sessions. Longer-standing patterns benefit from a longer arc. We never sell packages — we decide together, session by session.

Does hypnotherapy work online?

Yes. Secure video sessions are as effective as in-person for most clients. You will need a quiet, private space and a reliable connection. International clients across India, the US, UK, Canada, UAE, and beyond regularly work with us online.

Is hypnotherapy safe?

Yes, when practised by a trained therapist. Naveen works within clear ethical boundaries, paces the session to what you can hold, and never suggests anything against your values.

Is hypnotherapy a replacement for therapy or medication?

No. Hypnotherapy is complementary. If you are in clinical care, we work alongside your treating team, not instead of them. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or adjust medication.
