CERTIFICATION

How our certification works

We are transparent about the meaning and limits of our certification. This page explains what an SHF Institute certificate is, what it isn't, and where we are headed.

What the SHF Certificate is

A Soul Healing Foundation Institute Certificate of Completion documents that you have completed the curriculum of a specific Institute course, conducted supervised practice sessions, and met the standards we set for graduation.

It is a credential issued internally by the Institute. It reflects the rigour of training under Naveen Todi and the SHF methodology — which is, in our view, the most meaningful thing about it.

What it is not

It is not currently accredited by an external body. It is not equivalent to a clinical, medical, or psychiatric license. It does not authorise practice in jurisdictions that regulate hypnotherapy as a licensed profession.

We name this clearly because honesty matters in this field, and because the difference is meaningful for some applicants.

Where we are headed

We are pursuing endorsement from the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) and exploring partnerships with established hypnotherapy bodies. When external accreditation is granted, we will publicly announce it and update our certificates accordingly. Until then, what you receive from us is the training itself, the lineage, and the community of practitioners we are building.

Who recognises it

Soul Healing Foundation graduates work as hypnotherapy and regression practitioners primarily in:

  • India, where hypnotherapy is unregulated and practice is permitted with appropriate scope
  • Countries with similar regulatory landscapes
  • Adjacent fields where holistic methodology is the practitioner's existing scope

We will discuss your country's specific regulatory landscape during the application interview.

Ethical commitment

Every Institute graduate signs an ethical code on graduation, committing to:

  • Practise within scope, refer out when appropriate
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Avoid clinical claims our methodology cannot support
  • Continue learning through supervision, peer consultation, and ongoing study
  • Disclose certification source honestly to clients

This commitment is what we believe a credential should ultimately rest on.
